Our competitive pricing models, are tailored to the needs of each of our individual clients, based on their needs and expectations.
Based on the referral of low-value, bulk debt (low value being under £700) the typical charge per case applied, is between £25 - £70 plus VAT, for cases allocated to the Small Claims Track (excluding disbursements).
The work carried out for this fee includes (dependant on how a specific case proceeds);
In addition, throughout the litigation process, our dedicated lawyers, will advise on the prospects of success on cases, including costs and associated risks, together with the most appropriate way of realising monies due.
In addition to the fees charged by our firm, disbursements are incurred. Depending on the instructions provided by our client, such disbursements can include;
Fees of the Court for issuing a claim, can be located here.
Court issue fees are based on the amount of the claim being made, including interest. This firm files claims through the Money Claim Online Service (MCOL).
Fees of the Court for a hearing can be located here.
Hearing fees are based on the amount of the claim being made.
If you are unable to attend any Court Hearing listed, an Advocate/Counsel can be instructed, and the specific price can be provided at the relevant time, such price depending on the value of the claim and/or complexity of the claim, together with the volume of instruction and the qualifications of the advocate. Ordinarily, such fees range between £130 - £500 plus VAT.
If, during the course of preparing the claim, a search is required to be carried out in order to provide advice or to use as evidence during the claim, the Land Registry will charge a fee for plans/registers/leases etc. The HM Land Registry Fees can be located here.
From time to time, other disbursements could be incurred, and we will always confirm the cost of a disbursement, before incurring any cost to our clients.
In addition, dependent on our clients’ business and practices, we also offer a percentage based pricing structure, following consideration being given to the debt portfolio, the debt value, and volume of instruction.
Such rates can average between 30-50% of the sum recovered prior to the issuing of Court proceedings.
We also deal with Defended Small Claims/Multi and Fast Track Cases on behalf of clients, and such debt recovery work will be dealt with on an hourly rate, ranging between £150-£250 per hour (plus VAT) (dependant on the level/grade of the individual with responsibility of the matter).

The work carried out for such claims will include;
Should unforeseen complexities arise, and additional work will be required, revised costs information will be provided as soon as possible.
From our experience, it is important for a client to know how long it will be before monies are realised.
Ordinarily, we find the following average time scales;
If payment is received following the sending of a Letter before Claim, without the necessity of issuing a claim, sums would be realised on average, within 3 months.
If proceedings are issued to the Small Claims Track, and proceed to a hearing, this would not normally not exceed 12 months, and average around 3-9 months.
Thereafter, the time scale for recovery of monies following a Judgment being obtained, can take between 9-20 months.
Our expert team, has extensive experience in dealing with bulk, corporate debt claims. Our teams consist of Solicitors (of varying qualification), trainee solicitors, paralegals and support staff.
Our key staff members be located on the Law Society Website here.
